Who Would You Ask for Advice as President?
That questions was asked of both candidates at the Saddleback Faith Forum tonight. Obama would ask his wife and grandmother.
Mom was smart. She kept her light under the traditional basket but she was smart.
But I would not put her in the top ten people I’d go to for advice if I were President.
My darling wife is very smart. But the same follows.
For advice you go to experts, to people with experience and skills and education concerning the issue you need advice for.
Michelle Obama may be a bright woman but I’m fairly certain she knows jack-shit about deploying the military or providing aid rapidly to a nation devastated by a tsunami.
Barry Obama’s grandmother is probably a sweet lady. He’s already pronounced her a racist, but, hey, she’ll always love him no matter how much of a putz he is.
Do I think the President ought to be getting advice from Barry Obama’s grandmother? Hell, no! I suspect she knows very little about agricultural subsidies and about the G8. I’m guessing but I think I’m right about that.
Barry also mentioned a number of Senators. Doesn’t he know anyone else in government, or private industry? No congressmen?
Just who does Barry Obama know and trust well enough to get advice from? Other than his wife and grandmother?
