Saw the cardiologist today. The wife has lost 85 pounds since February 27. She wanted to lose some ugly fat but I’m not really that ugly.

They’re upping her blood pressure meds, now that time has past. The BP was a delicate balance between neurology and cardiology. The N guys wanted it higher, to prevent additional strokes. Time to double the Diovan and push the BP towards 110.

BTW, we’re seeing ads for law firms looking for clients who took Avandia and had a heart attack. The wife qualifies in that respect. Maybe we’ll be a part of a class action?!?!

She’s stopped using the walker much of the time around the house, preferring to balance herself on furniture and walls. I’m VERY nervous but she’s doing quite well so far. Listing to the left due to the stroke but no Titanic yet.

Temp job is going well. It’s at a not for profit so I’m on familiar ground. Making les than half what I was, though, but more than unemployment. By a cat’s whisker.
