Turnout so far in Rochester:
By mid-afternoon, a sampling of the polls shows that Monroe County is on track for good voter turnout. The Board of Elections says early numbers indicate that some 60 percent of registered voters will cast a ballot by the end of the day.
“I do see a lot of people coming in the door; a lot of absentee ballots are in and that is up a little bit from 2002,†said Tom Ferrarese, Democratic Elections Commissioner.
