Marines providing aid to Hatians in Leogane Approximately 125 Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit came ashore near Leogane, Haiti today beginning relief operations in a pasture that is now being used as a landing zone for helicopters loaded with supplies. Marines ready to assist Haiti after earthquake
About 2,000 Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit at Camp Lejeune, N.C., are preparing to deploy to provide disaster-relief support in earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
