More confirmed swine flu cases, and more countries with confirmed cases: Israel: 1 new New Zealand: 3 new Spain: 1 new, 2 total U.S.: news reports of 10 new, 50 total Canada: 6 total Scotland: 2 total Mexico: conflicting news reports, 2,000 in hospital, 142 plus deaths The news media is reporting cases much faster than the main public health agencies are updating their websites. The CDC and WHO are clearly falling behind in reporting information. The media, however, is reporting confirmed cases that later are not, because they are relying upon local authorities and local politicians. It is difficult to determine what the current situation acutally is.
