Staff Sgt. Travis Atkins – Hero
Distinguished Service Cross Brig. Gen. Michael Harrison, director of the Joint and Futures Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, presented the Distinguished Service Cross to the Family of Staff Sgt. Travis Atkins for his heroism in combat during the 2nd Brigade Combat Team’s 15-month deployment in Iraq.
