Reprinted from October 13 2007 KIA Oct. 5, 2007 in Bayji, Iraq DoD The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Spc. Rachael L. Hugo, 24, of Madison, Wis., died Oct. 5 in Bayji, Iraq, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked her unit using an improvised explosive device and small arms fire.
