Sudden Jihad Syndrome??? Seriously?? Where did that come from? I find it extremely hard to believe that this was a case of "sudden jihad syndrome" When is someone going to stand up and say hey wait a minute, we need to deal with this and call it what it really is, an act of terrorism! Oh my did I just say something politically incorrect? "If all printers were determined not to print anything till they were sure it would offend nobody, there would be very little printed." Ben Frnaklin That quote is more significant than ever before. Our society has become so politically correct that we allow this type of thing to happen in what appears to be an increasingly alarming rate. Now someone has come up with "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" Well that dog don't hunt! As some of my southern friends would say. We so easily come out and call someone a murderer when they go into a school or mall and begin firing at innocent people. Then the "feel gooders" get together and talk about how the suspect came from a broken home or wet the bed when he was a child. The fact remains, the person took a human life intentionally thus he or she is a murderer. But when someone intentionally tries to run down innocent people with a motor vehicle, and after he is arrested, makes the comments he made above...it's called sudden jihad syndrome. Is it because we don't want to offend the muslim populace? If that is the case, then lets all just turn the other cheek....so we can get slapped on the other side! He made the statement "The muslims will fix this country." Hellooooooo!!!! Am I the only one who thinks that based on that statement, that maybe it was an act of terrorism? Now all we have been hearing is that we should not rush to judgement and call the attacks at Ft Hood an act of terrorism, well by doing that, we have done the victims a horrible injustice. Hasan shouted out allah akbar before he began shooting. We should not rush to judgement in calling these attacks acts of terrorism. I compare the state of political correctness to patch of Kudzoo, those of you in the south know exactly what I am talking about. Kudzoo is a slowly spreading vine like plant and if let untreated, will take over your lawn and home. Even though you knew it was in the yard, you did little or nothing about it until it was too late? And then you stand around and wonder.....How did this happen? Go figure, I personally don't care if we hurt the feelings of another country, I still sleep pretty good at night. What I do care about is being able to raise my child in a land where she doesn't have to worry about changing religions or even being about to go out of the house by herselt. Its time we woke up an dtook a good look around, I stated earlier that I don't care if I offend someone, I have never been known to be politically correct. If it walks like a diuck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its a pretty safe bet that is a duck....that is unless the duck suffers an episode of "Sudden Chicken Syndrome" Dud I just make up a new politically correct diagnosis? ...Only time will tell!
