The fierce winter storm that tore through the Midwest has left its mark on America’s North Shore. [/dav]
I was up at 5 am this morning to take a 12 hour shift with the ambulance. It was a pretty good storm.
I used the snowblower yesterday about 4 pm to clear the driveway and moved about 8 inches of snow and ice. This morning there was at least an additional eight inches, which I just drove through.
It’s possible that the energetic young man next door will shovel, or else I will snowblow when I get home after 6 pm tonight. My less than large snowblower will have to work hard.
A man is measured by the size of his snowblower.
My neighborhood was in need of plowing. Fortunately everyone who paid to have their driveway plowed had it done, plowed into the street of course. I590 and I490 were packed snow with some blowing. In East Rochester you could see the road in places, keeping in mind that every cross street was marked by the pile of snow left by the plow as it went through the intersection.
