Here’s some of the questions the left is raising about Sarah Palin:
Inexperience: What would she do about the War on Terror if President? Could she handle the job? This is just a way of slyly pointing out that Sarah Palin is a woman. And, you know, women can’t fight wars. Other than Margaret Thatcher and Golda Mier. And lots of other patriotic, educated, thoughtful women.
Motherhood: How can she be a good mother and President? Shouldn’t she be home taking care of her baby? Was John Kennedy a good father? He had small children. Another sly reference to Palin’s sex, and denigrating the abilities of working moms.
Foreign policy: She has no foreign policy experience. Just because she’s Governor of a state that borders two foreign countries, she can’t know anything. Barry Obama knows less. He’s never governed a state, or anything for that matter, and he thinks borders is a bookstore. Joe Biden has never governed anything and he favors breaking up sovereign nations without their permission. We have a State Department and a Defense Department for a reason. Sarah Palin is smart enough to look to the experts when she needs to.
If you are easily shocked, cover your eyes. Sarah Palin does not have a penis. That is the sum total of the left’s criticism of her. At 44, she is not a girl but a woman. She is self-made, a wife and mother, comfortable in the outdoors and in the conference room. She represents everything that the left has been battling for with women’s rights for the last forty years. She is success on that issue.
So, since she does not believe as they do, they attack her as a woman, as weak, inexperienced, as incapable of handling the tough job of President. Just as Clarence Thomas is not black, Sarah Palin cannot be a a “real” woman because she is not a man.

You might be interested in her lack of experience perhaps ……. her disinterest in the environment, she prefers shooting wolves from helicopters, global warming isn’t real, she prefers poisoned water, frankly most alaskans don’t think she’s the real deal……. and I’m one of them.

On the contrary, I think her being a woman has *helped* her career. Would a man with such limited time in office of one of the least populated states be considered at all? I think she was selected because she is a woman.
I also wonder, will John Mc Cain really work with her or is she just a trophy VP? It’s hard to believe that they have that much common ground.
I will admit that my Gov. (who I never voted for) has even less experience. I would never support Arnold Schwarzenegger for the fact that although he has been governor of a much larger and more diverse state, he has no other political experience. I don’t feel he is qualified either and never did. (Never mind that he is not eligible for Pres.) He won CA on his name as an actor. Had he been a small town mayor, I doubt he would be governor. CA made a stupid choice and believe me we are paying for it.

Sorry, joanne. She has an 80% approval rating. Oh, and experience: when Barry Obama first got elected to the State Senate, Sarah Palin was in her 5th year of elected office.
Palin did it the right way: winning elections in progressively more responsible office. She wasn’t annointed the way Barry was. Palin has actually produced the change that Barry (who has never run anything except his mouth) promises.
As far as governors not being qualified, Clinton was the governor of the 48th worst state — by any measure — of the country. Reagan, on the other hand, was a governor who ended the cold war and brought about 25 years of a bull market.
McCain and Palin are more diverse than Obama and Biden. McCain and Palin are different genders while Biden and Obama are both males, one is whit and the other half white.

I was supporting McCain until he chose Sara Palin. What an insult to me as a woman. I was a Hillary supporter based on her credentials. Sara better take care of her family first. Did McCain really think Hillary women had no brains? That we would vote for him regardless of the lack of qualifications in his VP?
No vote no way for McCain. He can have her.

Now that coca cola cups have been picked up from the Obama concert in Berlin. The Germans don’t know where to begin with Palin. Maybe, they will let her speak brandenburg gate. I don’t know if McCain chose Palin because she is a woman. She seems to be a smart and tough cookie. McCain does not feel threaten by having someone smarter than him. Obama made the wrong choice in Biden, the loser. He should have chosen the smarter woman. The woman had a history of winning. Based on the popular vote, the woman won.

Sara is just what we need. You nut jobs that think the planet is in peril and we are addicted to oil are morons. We have to have energy to run this country and stay strong for the rest of the world. We help every one one the planet when they need it and no one ever comes to our aid. And did you all forget the people who had tornadoes tear up their towns this year. Are they crying for help no they pulled up their boots and went to work on their own. Sure we helped at first and we should but I am so sick of hearing about Katrina victums get off your asses and help your self. That state was full of lazy ass people that just suck off my money. We sent enough money to them and they are still bitching. So for what I want Sara Palin will do just fine. I am tired of the same old ass holes in government and when Nobama wanted Biden who has been sucking off the tax payer for 30 years and will retire with more money than most of us will ever make in a lifetime. I say go away and let the people prosper the government will never help you or let you prosper if they have it their way. They are doing things they were never allowed to have any part of in our lives.

I would like to know why you never see sara carrying the baby her daughter bristol always seems to have him. Even her husband seems to distance himself from the baby. She is supposed to be this wonderful mother, wouldn’t you think even in the airport she would be carrying him instead of her 5 month pregnant daughter.
10 kayla // Sep 8, 2008 at
I think sara needs to stop and go home. what the hell doesn’t she know about running anything. look at her Daughter she’s PREGNANT thats a real leader alright! Obama got more experience than her. alaska get real.
p.s. sara proved to everyone that when u give to much power to women they abuse it. like trying to fire ur ex brother in law, because hes divorcing your sister is real STUPID.

i am a woman, who was a huge hilary supporter because she was READY and experienced enough for the job. when i listen to sara speak, i cringe!!! hockey mom? hunter? soon to be grandma? what the hell is wrong with people? i thought, there’s no way its gonna as bad as the last 8 years were. now this? go home and make sure you teach your other 2 daughters about abstinence, cause that really worked with bristol. any women who wants to rid of a womans right to choose, even if she was molested or it would endager the mothers life is just plain STUPID!!!! guess what republicans…it’s not 1908, its 2008!!!!!

Liberals always seem to be attacking anything that is anchored in Christianity or Patriotism for these United States like the witch hunt they are currently promoting over who she fires while in office. If not that issue then they would have manufactured something else out of thin air. These are just dirty tactics….believe me I live in a city where every government office above me is run by Democrats and they just use government agencies to try to destroy or break the momentum of do gooders who are honest or conservative. The truth is that Sara is a decent, honest, and effective person and America can see through the crap being thrown at her. For crying out loud the Palins are a regular and productive middle class american family who are playing by the rules and making ends meet…..not like so many of the ivory towered elites who have dominated political positions for years. Most democrats who end up on presidential tickets are very rich while at the same time claiming to represent the common man. What a joke! In Sara we have a leader who has a real middle class back ground and yet they want Hypocracy instead of her. Most people attack out of fear… and the opposition is right to fear her because she is sharp as a tack and quite unstoppable at this point.

I was also a McCain supporter until he picked Palin. She just got a passport for the first time in her life last year. Lied about her “trip to Iraq.” Leading a town of 6,000 doesn’t do it for me. Boarding a foreign country gives her foreign policy experience? Give me a break. She has been governor of the ‘largest state’ … since when did land area signify importance? That mean antarctica is more important than Japan, Russia and Canada are more important that the US. It’s quite unfortunate he chose such an unfit running mate. Should have picked Romney or even Pawlenty. It’s a crying shame to think Clinton supporters, who are staunch pro choice are going to support this roe v. wade seeking to overturn wacko. After her interview with ABC where she couldn’t even answer one of the questions about Pakistan…I said ‘time out here, if something should happen to McCain this woman who be the leader of the free world! Oh, my, gosh, please help us all.’ I can’t, nor will I vote for McCain.

I am so sick of the airhead called Sarah Palin. I am so ready for the election to be over, Obama to be President and Sarah Palin to fade into the sunset.

Sara Palin smart?? Did you see the same debate that I saw? If you think Palin is smarter than McCain, then he is a total moron. Get real….the woman was reciting lines she had been given in “debate camp.” She never answered a question that was posed to her, but kept going back to the only “few” answers she knew, regardless if they fit the question or not. If the McCain ticket wins, I give up and will feel that if the country is that stupid then we deserve what we get.
16 Gerry // Oct 4, 2008 at
SP is not presidential material. Is she gonna wink at Putin and other world leaders? If they brings up a topic she going to, as in the debate, give an answer that is unrelated to the question? Facce it, she is a female version of Bush, unplugged, unschooled and uncurious with a big ego, and just as he has led us into a series of catostrophies she will do the same. Anyone who has kids is scared at the prospect that she and the moron McCain that chose her would get anywhere near the white house.
17 Sue // Oct 6, 2008 at
SP does women who are intelligent, have worked, travelled, fought for the environment and women’s rights a complete disservice. But at least now the polls are showing that Americans can see that. Thank God!
