Should John McCain Be President?

February 26th, 2007 · No Comments-What's your opinion?· 23 views

John McCain is a hero. Many heroes have been elected President. But, I ask, is his suffering for our country as a POW qualification enough to be our next President?

He’s got a short fuse. The older I get, the more wary I grow of that sort of people. John McCain does not appear to have the self control that I would like to see in a President.

In fact, let’s be blunt. How much further would his naval career have gone had he not been shot down? Would John McCain have ever been given a promotion if he had not been a POW?

He’s got this thing about free speech. He doesn’t seem to like it when its not about his sterling qualities. He writes bills and proposes actions.

Remember, my perfect President will have done nothing during his administration. My perfect President will not have proposed new programs or levied new taxes. He won’t have engaged in great public works or moulded overseas alliances. Small government means small Presidents.

No, John McCain should not be President.
