Our Best: Navy Welder Babe
Mom in law was a welder in Washington State, working on Liberty Ships during WWII. So, I’m not going to pass up the chance to recognize welders, female welder in the military, whenever I can. And, yes, I called her a babe. Just say I felt a spark and let it go.

OKINAWA, Japan (April 28, 2008) Hull Technician Fireman Shaunte Vargas welds together a cracked seam to a watertight door aboard the dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) while the ship embarks vehicles and equipment from elements of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
