Here are the swine flu / novel H1N1 case counts for the United States for today. The CDC numbers are from 11 am this morning. They have not updated the California count since May 18.

Lost cases are those cases counted by the state but not yet appearing in the CDC numbers. As demonstrated by the date and time stamps for the state reports, it would have been possible for the CDC to have obtained the correct data before issuing this report.

    I am living in Singapore. There have been 4 confirmed cases in Singapore and 2 in Malaysia. All of them got it from the US. I am seriously questioning whether the numbers reported by the US CDC is accurate. It would appear that the US is not taking this problem seriously. The US media – CNN etc are not paying much attention to the situation. US should be much more responsible to help the whole world manage the situation before it becomes a pandemic.
