NY PostNew York Democratic Party Chairman Herman “Denny” Farrell, a 72-year-old grandfather, has fathered an out-of-wedlock “love child” whose birth is imminent. The politically prominent Farrell, chairman of the powerful Assembly Ways and Means Committee and head of the Manhattan Democratic Committee, issued a statement last night revealing the upcoming birth after The Post had questioned him about it.
“In early February I will be blessed with the birth of my third child,” Farrell said in the statement. “Along with my partner of many years, I’ve been looking forward to this for a number of years and we are overjoyed about welcoming our child into the world. This will be a very happy event and my family and I hope our privacy will be respected.” Farrell would not identify the woman.
An adviser to a Democratic official said the mother of Farrell’s child is a 38-year-old Manhattan resident active in Democratic political campaigns.
It certainly appears obvious that she was “active”.
