My Life as a Drama

The last several weeks have been filled with drama for me and mine.

The Friday before New Years I was terminated at my employment. The owners wanted someone who could “take them to the next level”.

I would love to blow about all this but one of the owners at my former employer has spent an inordinate amount of time reading this blog [portions of original post redacted]. MYOB.

I’m a damn good controller, and took that company from the brink of failure to a very successful place in the industry. Nuff said.

The lovely wife is suffering more results of her diabetes, as well as some other worrisome findings from her CAT scan. MRI approval is being sought.

My sister’s in-laws are going through some awful health problems, and that is stressing her family a lot.

Much drama at the ambulance corps. The Village of East Rochester is attempting to take over our billing income despite having no contract with the corps and no legal relationship with our corporation. $100k plus that they’re trying to grab. Curiously, our new Captain is married to a village board member and her second in command recently obtained a job with the village. Curious.

The cats are good. Thank God!

I am skipping my spine clinic appt because I have been unable to find time for one PT session, much less the eight weeks I was supposed to have had. My back hurts, but not nearly as bad. My appendix is a solid knot of ache, just reminding me that it is there most of the time. Don’t want to think about my teeth.

In other news, I don’t much give a rat’s ass. I’m posting a lot of DoD press releases and maintaining the Terrorist Death Watch page, but I cannot seem to summon any interest in original commentary or much of anything.
