My Latest Medical Update
Went to see Dr. Cutey this morning to follow up on the blood work. As a reminder, she is an adorable 30 something MD, who smells delightful, and is filled with joy. Thus Dr. Cutey.
Sodium was slightly high but otherwise, all was very normal. Improvements from last blood work, in fact.
She grabbed the results of the GI series and all they did was perplex me even more.
I have a mild hiatal hernia, which explains the awful GERD before Prilosec. However, the area suspected of ileitis was normal.
So, now I have a CAT scan showing a retrosecal inflamed appendix from four years ago. A CAT scan from late January showing signs of ileitis, thickened intestinal wall and a normal appendix. And now, the x-rays showing a normal small bowel.
WTF?
It would appear that I cannot avoid the colonoscopy. Drat.
