LPGA returns to Rochester this week
“The LPGA Championship presented by Wegmans is the second major of the season and will be played at the renowned Locust Hill Country Club, June 21 to 27, 2010. Locust Hill has hosted an LPGA event since 1977.” LPGA
There was some question at the end of last year’s LPGA event at Locust Hill if Rochester would ever see another LPGA tourney. This year’s event is the results of much hard work on the part of the LPGA, Wegmans and Locust Hill. The future of women’s professional golf in Rochester, however, remains in doubt.

When asked is she was looking forward to coming to Rochester, Kim replied “Very much so!”

Asked the same question, Vicky Hurst replied “Definitely!”

Karen Supples says: “I can’t wait I love Rochester
”
LPGA player Natalie Gulbis
Natalie Gulbis is also looking forward to Rochester. “Yes! Especially since it is a Major this year.”
