America’s North Shore Journal is an on-line publication of news and opinion. It is intended to educate, enlighten, entertain and aggravate the reader. It is written from America’s North Shore, the scenic coast of the Great Lakes.

What I blog about:

• Heroes from the War on Terror. These men and women do not receive the public recognition that they deserve for their courage and sacrifice. I will write about them as much as possible.
• Good news from the War on Terror. I will blog the stories about change for the good resulting from the War, the building and rebuilding that is going on every day which makes both Afghanistan and Iraq better places to live.
• Avian flu and pandemics. I am very interested in the media hype that surrounds the topic of influenza pandemics, pandemics in general and avian flu. It is far more hype than substance.
• China. China is the greatest danger in the world today. My analysis suggests that the country will collapse in less than a decade. Before that, China will go to war for resources and capital.
• America’s North Shore. You will read stories about America’s North Shore and see photos that I have taken of the beauties to be found here.
• Lots of other stuff.

This is where I write. Readers are most welcome, as are comments. Comments are moderated and will not appear until I have reviewed them. I will not edit them except to remove links or language that I view as potentially damaging or dangerous. I reserve the right to comment on or in your comment, and to reprint e-mails received unless specifically asked not to. I pay the bills. I make the rules.

I can be rude. If your feelings are that delicate, perhaps you should join a convent. If you are seven years old, you shouldn’t be reading this blog.
