I applaud the Republicans in the House for their actions today. It seems that the republican party may be starting to grow it’s spine back. Let’s just hope something good comes from this. But of course, the only media coverage is talk radio (as always when the republicans do anything good.)

I also find it interesting to see a representative using twitter. These messages seem much more truthful in this form. and I just love twitter.

Look at comments like the one above, by D.G.: “Drill what you have, stop fighting the electric cars, and let the transition happen. Most people see through the ploy of trying to squeeze every last dollar out of oil to prevent big campaign donors from going under, or, God forbid, doing something positive for society by just making the transition to already-possible-and-proven electric cars.”

Just another fool spoon-fed misinformation by the “mainstream” media. As if electric cars are in any way able to replace the combustion engine. The answer is to keep a great idea working plus improving it. Like the electric lightbulb. These “green” types want to use poisonous mercury filled florescent bulbs instead. Same goes for their brainwashed thoughts that oil is evil. They can’t understand that oil is a natural resource, produced by the Earth. It is not running out and certainly not evil.
