GARY SINISE ARRIVED
That was the subject line of the email that went out. According to the email, Mr. Sinise was going to be at the Rec Center here at Camp Al Taqaddum, Iraq in an hour and a half from when the email appeared in my inbox last night.
Being a big movie buff, I made sure I made it down there early enough to shake the hand of Lt. Dan.
The poor man looked tired when he arrived, but he was a gentleman while gladly taking the time to sign autographs and take pictures with every single Marine that stood in line to shake his hand and tell of their favorite movies he’s played in (Albino Alligator being mine).
Besides being a fantastic actor, Mr. Sinise has earned my utmost respect by coming out here, showing us his support and giving us something to write home about.
