OK, Shuster ambushes a Republican Congresswoman about the name of the last soldier from her district to die in Iraq. Initial research suggests he was actually from another district.

Media Blog reports that MediaBistro quotes the Memphis Commercial Appeal that the young man’s home town was in her district.

Gotcha!

DoD press release:
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died Aug. 5 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered from enemy indirect fire.

They were assigned to the 59th Military Police Company, 759th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, and Fort Carson, Colo. Killed were:
Spc. Justin R. Blackwell, 27, of Paris, Tenn.
Pfc. Jeremy S. Bohannon, 18, of Bon Aqua, Tenn.

Google locates the Bon Aqua Post Office:

Zip code 37025, Bon Aqua, is in three Congressional districts, according to Congress.org:

Based upon the District maps found here, it appears the soldier’s home could be in TN-7 or TN-4. TN-8 is too far north and west for all but a sliver of zip code 37025.

So, with the information available to me, I cannot determine which Congressional district this young man lived in. Can anyone else?
