1959 was a good and bad year for me. it was a year that i was able to spend time with my Grandfather. i was 8, he was my hero. he took me everywhere he went. i felt special. getting ready for a picnic he had a heart attack and died. i was at his side. he was taller, stronger and better looking than anyone, to me. i still miss him. the dandelion summer reminds me of days and times gone by. those times seemed as innocent as the children in the picture. there has been and always will be sin and evil in the world but to me 1959 and these 2 children represent the ideal of a perfect time in life.
