FAUX PAS

Lady Gaga
Dress is hot
Hand ornament is not

Beyonce
Very classy and chic

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi

Too chunky for this monkey

Katy Perry

Dear God! Someone buy this woman a sun lamp. And a new dress.

Jennifer Lopez

It looks like some TP got stuck in her neckline instead of on her shoe. Is there a dress under there?

Mary J. Blige
Classic and classy.

Jennifer Hudson

Her dress looks like a leftover from her last office job.

Miley Cyrus
Fabulous look. Just perfect for a teen girl at the Grammys.

Heidi Klum

Must have lost the pants that went under this shirt.

Rihanna

Looks like a poodle died on her chest. Could have been a classic gown without all the frills ...

The irony in this story is almost unbearable.
The Associated Press on Friday suspended the use of photos provided by the Defense Department after the Army distributed a digitally altered photo of the U.S. military’s first female four-star general.
The image of Army Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody is the second Army-provided photo the AP has eliminated from its service in the last two months.
The AP said that adjusting photos and other imagery, even for aesthetic reasons, damages the credibility of the information distributed by the military to news organizations and the public.
“For us, there’s a zero-tolerance policy of adding or subtracting actual content from an image,” said Santiago Lyon, the AP’s director of photography.
Las Vegas Sun
You don’t crop photos? You don’t alter brightness, contrast or color balance? You don’t publish photos provided to you without any investigation.
Oh, that last one, you do.

Sticks are the original construction toys: children make toy buildings out of sticks and design toy boats with leaves for sails. Many an adult has picked up a driftwood souvenir from the beach, and artists and crafters use sticks in wreaths, chairs, and sculptures. The stick now keeps proud company with another untraditional “toy”—the Cardboard Box—inducted into the hall in 2005. After all, the best toy is often a plaything that’s free, easy to get, and a source of endless creativity.

That darn stick, the “poke your eye out” stick. It served as a rifle, a bat, a way to touch yucky things like dog poop and girls. Dogs love it. Moms hate it.

What a great day in America! The stick makes the Hall of Fame.

Barry Obama stands for good jobs for Americans. The people who work at Freddie and Fannie have good jobs in America. Very good jobs. Barry, you need to preserve their jobs. Do it for America, Barry.
Go back to Washington. Help your contributors. Stay bought, Barry!

Now, I have written glowingly about the actions of the Canadian military in Afghanistan. They’re punching above their weight class and probably rank second to us in the number of Taliban sent to Allah.

Maybe the Brits are in there, but they seem to have this policy of “We won’t shoot at you and you only shoot at us a little”.

Now, French Canada, well, I have fond memories.

In the early 1970′s a Catholic girls high school in Quebec used to send a bunch of its students down to my college to interact with the French Club and those of us taking French. Us being a bunch of horny American young men.

I’m not sure if any of those girls followed the Montreal Expos or not. I can say that reaching second base with them was as easy as it was with the Expos.

Perhaps it was all a plot to corrupt us. French Canadian boobage.

Did I mention that Canada invaded us? Just checking.

Among the problems the pair discusses with Judge Lynn Toler are Coleman’s anger and intimacy issues. Coleman and Price agree they have “ugly” monthly fights.
