Bloody Streets

August 24th, 2006 · No Comments-What's your opinion?· 14 views

It’s been quiet. Too quiet. Things have slowed down on the streets of Rochester as the police have implemented much of their strategy. The violence is an ebb and flow situation, however, driven as much by who’s out and who’s in jail as it is by any police patrolling.

And, one dead in Greece in the last week. A known gang member, this looks like an export killing from Rochester. It does have the burb in an uproar.

I’ve been using the Democrat & Chronicle numbers for my stats and now I find out they had a “little” error. I’ve got a call in the the police PR officer and hope to have the correct numbers shortly. I do believe I am safe is posting that there have been 29 murders in 2006.

The bums are still pooping on Division Street. I’m still driving past at least two drug locations on Portland every day.
