The carnage continues. 28 murders through the end of July, and YTD 202 shootings. The only good news is that so many of the shooters are such bad shots. We see a whole lot of young men with limps and / or canes. “I be shot in the ass, my man!”

I was at the local trauma center on July 30 when they brought one guy in. Repeat customer. He’d been shot before. Shot in the upper leg this time. Not high enough to improve the gene pool sadly.

But, hey, the city did open the hydrants during the hot spell.
