Armored Hummer

Found a nice, high res photo of an armored HumVee in use in Iraq. Soldiers prepare to stop a group vehicles approaching their traffic control point in Qayyarah, Iraq, May 2, 2005. The soldiers are assigned to the 25th Infantry Division’s Battery C, 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment. U.S. Army photo by Spc. Jory C. Randall

Interesting to see a number of what look like telephones at the rear, above the stretcher. I’m also curious about the cylinder behind the turret gunner. Anti-armor rocket launcher? As a photographer, amateur version, I have to say that when the Army says hi res photo, they mean it. Very, very cool.
