Adventures in Medicine
Based on the events of this week, I’m beginning a new series, titled as above.
It will relate the lovely wife’s and my contacts with the medical community for the next year. That seems like a good timeframe.
I went to see Dr. Cutie yesterday. My right shoulder has been very painful when used for about a month. I cannot lay on that side at night and putting a coat on is a chore.
She is sending me to a “shoulder doctor”. Not sure that’s a speciality, but the phone number is the U of R’s sports medicine clinic.
Office was open until 4:30 on Fridays, so, naturally, when I called at 4:20 yesterday, no one was in. I find it ironic that the phone message announces the hours while it is obvious that you all went home early.
So, I will call for an appointment on Monday.
I guess I’ll lose my place in the Yankee’s starting rotation.
