Dear Aaron, we will all miss you. Even though I did not know you, I spent 20 years in the military and am well aware of the sacrifices all military members make. Of course your is the ultimate sacrifice a person can make in our name and to protect all we hold dear. I wish you god speed into the arms of God. I pray and cry for your loss.

If this is a hoax, it is an artfully constructed one. It would have to involve a detailed MySpace page, with links that go to an extensive photo album including pictures from the Army. As for the Marine issue, the story I link says that the attack happened in Eastern Afghanistan, well away from the Marines. Until DoD releases the info, it is speculation, but informed speculation. BTW, your link does not call them Marines.

Mr. Masters’ career choice should have no bearing on his loss or the reality of it.
