50 Most Influential Female Bloggers

NxE’s Fifty Most Influential ‘Female’ Bloggers

Malkin is number 5. Huffington is number 2.

Found this list on Twitter. As I replied there, some of these women are very much last year’s news. I’m referring to Ana Marie Cox who was Wonkette before it became a man, Elizabeth Spiers who is no longer a part of Gawker or, well, anything else, and Amanda Marcotte, whose foot-in-mouth disease singlehandedly ended the blogging program for John Edwards for President.

Women of color? Not so much on this list. And I wouldn’t define a sex blogger as influential. It’s pretty much a list of the “old girls club” and not a real attempt to account for influence by women in bogging.
