WHAT: Groundbreaking Ceremony and Reception - The Summit Global Group is hosting a ceremony and reception to break ground on a new five-star hotel in Baghdad. This is one of the first private investments approved by the Iraq’s National Investment Commission and financed by an investor group that includes both Iraqi and American investors.

WHERE: Combined Press Information Center, Escort Section, for those taking military provided transportation. The ceremony will be held at the building site, located next to Adnan Palace, at the intersection of Zaitun Street and Al Qadisiya Highway.

WHEN: Saturday, 19 July 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for those taking military
provided transportation. Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m.

NOTE: The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on 19 July 2008 at 11:00AM on the building site, located next to Adnan Palace, at the intersection of Zaitun Street and Al Qadisiya Highway. Immediately following the ceremony, guests are invited to a VIP reception to hear remarks from those involved in the project. Location of the reception will be at Michael’s Restaurant in Adnan Palace. Security and other provisions have been arranged.
