At War With Iran?

or just At Police Action? The post titled Jackpot tells the story of recent battles in Herat Province of Afghanistan. Herat is in the west of the country and borders Iran. 136 fighters killed by Afghans and Special Forces. Iran has been trying to influence the province for some time. In December I wrote Iran Expands Influence and quoted CNews thusly: Western Afghanistan has a newly paved 120-kilometre stretch of highway between the Iranian border and its main city, Herat, courtesy of the Islamic republic. Iran is also considering building a rail line on the busy route and has pledged the equivalent of another C$640 million to help rebuild Afghan infrastructure and businesses. “Iran is not going away from here,” a Herat-based western diplomat said. “The question is whether we can co-exist in this region … Read entire article »

Jackpot!

You know the sound that a slot machine makes when you hit the jackpot. Imagine that sound as you read this post. 136 dead Talibs. And recall that just last week command was expressing concerns about Iranian weapons being smuggled into Afghanistan. And, since Herat Province is swarming with Iranians and smugglers… Central Command U.S. Special Forces, accompanied by Afghan National Police and other Coalition members, identified and engaged several Taliban fighting positions 37 miles south of Shindand, Herat Province, while conducting a reconnaissance patrol April 29. After gaining intelligence of Taliban activity in the Zerkoh Valley, Coalition and ANP forces maneuvered into positions to pinpoint and attack the Taliban fighters. Once in position, Coalition and ANP forces initiated the attack on the enemy positions with mortar, small arms and rocket propelled grenade … Read entire article »

Sex and Politics

No one in American politics has sex. No one. Think about it for a moment. The biggest scandals in politics today revolve around sex. Heck, ask Bill Clinton. While the children of candidates are paraded around in their Sunday best for photo ops, no one voices the reason for their existence. Mom and Dad has sex. Imagine if Obama’s wife opined “It’s true what they say about black men in bed.” It would kill his run for President. Why? Because American politicians don’t have sex. Readers of this blog know that I like women. Andrea Harris, webmistress extraordinaire, once accused me of being a lesbian. All I know is that I am not qualified to be President because I like sex. We have several men running for President who have been divorced. Rudy is on … Read entire article »

Fire Causes Major Collapse, 9/11 Truth

UPDATE: In the comments, the Truthers are active. Do you people take stupid pills? This is hard science. It’s not astrology or phrenology. Steel expands when heated to about 1000 degrees F. All of the pieces parts of the WTC towers were held together by bolts and rivets that were designed to tolerate a given amount of stress. Anything more, and they fail. Same as the highway. Steel expands 1.2 cm per meter at 1000 degrees. A ten foot I beam becomes 3.6 cm longer, about an inch and a half. No rivet or bolt is designed with that sort of give. The WTC towers were hollow space surrounded by beams. Once one floor gave way, it would naturally pancake down the shaft that the exterior created. Each floor added tons to … Read entire article »
