Rochester and Monroe County NY turnout:
As of 8 p.m., turnout in Monroe County was at 52 percent. In the suburbs, turnout was 55 percent and in the city it was 45 percent.
If voter turnout continues at this pace, it’s expected to total about 62 percent, 4 percent above what it was in 2002, said Peter Quinn, Monroe County Republican Elections Commissioner.
