Rochester N.Y update on turnout:
I was voter 143 in my district, out of about 460, at about 4:30 EST. That would put turnout there at 31%. When I voted two years ago about an hour and a half later, the turnout was about 62%.

As of this 5 p.m., turnout in Monroe County was at 38 percent. In the suburbs, turnout was 40 percent and in the city it was 34 percent. At the same time in 2002, the Monroe County figure was 39 percent.
If voter turnout continues at this pace, it’s expected to total about 62 percent, 4 percent above what it was in 2002, said Peter Quinn, Monroe County Republican Elections Commissioner.
