The Treasury Secretary has resigned. Probably worn out from his road trip to Africa with Bono. Drudge is saying the the President’s chief Economic Adviser has resigned, as well. I’m not a fan of government intervention in the economy. It does that too much already. And I’m not convinced that we are in any serious economic distress. OK, compared to the 1990′s, we’re in a little trouble. But the 90′s were a real aberration in the economy. For crying out loud, unemployment actually fell below full employment as defined by economists. WTF! To expect stock values to remain at historical highs and unrealistic valuations was wrong.
